Turbo speed and system costs under control. Our multi-level technology enables us to keep very high motor and generator speeds of up to 180,000 rpm safely under control. MLI was developed for fuel-cell air compressors and electric turbochargers.

SKAI 2 HV drive train and auxiliaries inverters

Especially designed for electric and hybrid drivetrains and auxiliaries, the second-generation SKAI HV „Off-the-Shelf“ inverter family has already been introduced to cover a wide range of vehicle electrification applications.

The SKAI 2 HV is available with 1200V power semiconductors. Depending on the application setup, the superior vehicle controller can interface to SKAI 2 HV via CAN bus-based speed or torque control commands.

Flexible not only in shape but also in terms of its technical characteristics, this motor platform for e-mobility can be scaled to fit the precise requirements of each application, making it a compact, efficient drive system for any hybrid or electric vehicle. This motor is also suitable for electrifying auxiliaries such as air compressors or for powering hydraulic pumps. Cost-effective series production is ensured as a result of its simple design. It can easily be combined with the SKAI inverter and  QUASAR™ motor control software to produce cost-optimized electric drivetrains.
